Each of the tab handles one particular side of Windows. It contains the controls and defines appropriate behavior settings in the Windows.
RESTrick works as a standard Windows application - you can select some options in the tabs but they will not be accepted until you'll have pressed "Apply" or "OK".

Tabs can open additional sub-dialogs with detailed settings, like on the picture below:

RESTrick is automatically detecting your Operation System and displays the only tabs that make sense (for example, when you're running Windows NT you'll not see the tab that defines booting in Windows 95).

To change the profile you are working with click at the left-bottom flat button. As it is shown in the picture below you'll see the menu with the list of all available profiles on this computer. The two topmost special options are:
Current - is a profile you were logged with.
Default - is the profile that is used if skipped logon dialog (Win 9x and WinME) or
the profile that is the template for creating the new user (WinNT and Win2k).
